What is Busly Transport (Pty) Ltd.?

Busly Transport (PTY) Litd. is a Thrive.Ed company that will be operating the bus service in collaboration with our schools. Bookings, operations and all logistics will run from within Skye College, by Skye College staff.

 

Who can use the bus service?

The full service offered from January 2025 is available for students in Grade 1 - Grade 10.

 

What happens if my child is sick and won't be using the bus?

Please inform the bus service manager as soon as possible so we can adjust the schedule.

 

How will I be notified of schedule changes?

You will receive updates via WhatsApp for any changes or delays.

 

Is the service available during school holidays?

No, the bus service runs only on school days.

 

Can I send an Uber to pick my child up from a bus stop?

We take your child safety very seriously, and due to this we only allow the parent to pick up the child from the bus stop.

 

Can I make arrangements for a relative to pick up my child?

In the event that an alternative person has to pick up your child, please make arrangements with the bus driver in advance. You will be requested to send a photo of the persons ID. The person picking up you child will also be asked to present their ID.
